Updates for Xbox Live

An update should be headding for Xbox360 owners via Xbox Live soon. The update should fix various Dashboard problems that have affected the console since launch. Such problems include: in-game freezing issues, achievements not being registered or being lost, crashing, and the function of the dashboard as a whole.

No date has been announced specifically, but it seems Microsoft has never told us when our original Xbox was going to update, and we would download some mysterious update upon signing onto Xbox Live. So it’s probably safe to assume the same will happen with Xbox360.
